May 28, 2015To the Membership of Cumberland Minor Hockey
At our Special General Meeting (SGM) held on April 29th, the membership of Cumberland Minor Hockey voted in favour of the governance pilot that has been in place for the past two years.
The motion presented to the membership was as follows:
That the District 12, Cumberland Jr. Grads & Cumberland Dukes “Executive Governance Realignment” Pilot Project presented to membership on Tuesday, May 21st, 2013 be ratified and implemented as a permanent Governance model for District 12 effective June 1st, 2015.

In order to for this motion to pass, this motion required a 2/3rds majority vote in favour from both the parents of the Cumberland Dukes and Cumberland Jr. Grads.
We are now planning for our Annual General Meeting (AGM) where we will hold elections for all non-appointed positions and present various year end reports.

Date: Thursday May 28, 2015
Location: Fallingbrook Elementary School – Cafeteria
Time: Doors open at 18:30, AGM begins at 19:00
(In order to vote or be elected to a board position you must be a member in good standing within District 12 – Cumberland Minor Hockey)
The following positions will be elected on May 28th, and be effective June 1, 2015.
Note: Positions that are 2 years and elected in EVEN YEARS will be elected for a 1 year term at this AGM to begin the cycle.
