Tournament Champions - Cumberland Dukes Peewee A2

Peewee A2 attended the Bob Black Tournament in Oshawa this past weekend and repeated as Peewee Champions! The team went 2-0-1 in the round robin to earn a bye to the semi finals on Sunday. The semi final was a nail biter against our rivals from Leitrim. Down 1-0 since early in the first period, our Dukes fought hard and tied the game with 4:52 left in the third period; the winning goal was scored with 0:44 seconds left in regulation play. On to the final game which our team won 4-1. Congratulations to all of the kids and a big thank you to all of the coaching staff and parents!
