Congratulations to the Cumberland Jr Grads Minor Peewee B (White) who were Tournament Champions at the Can/Am Challenge Cup in Montreal.
Coming off a challenging few weeks of league play, the Cumberland Jr. Grads Minor Peewee B White squad took to the road to compete for the Can/Am Challenge Cup in Montreal.
The team was focused on FUN and competed incredibly hard over the entire three day tourney - going undefeated in round robin play.
The final was a brilliant game in which our boys showcased both skill and tenacity, twice overcoming one goal deficits, against an '04 Vaughan Rangers team who played amazing. Despite the age difference, our boys would not be intimidated and took the high road - winning in overtime on the strength of a well earned 4-3 victory.
The coaching staff could not be more proud of this group and would like to thank all of the parents and players for a wonderful weekend of FUN and hockey.
