Cumberland Jr Grads U12 AA are Playoff Champions!!

The U12 AA Jr. Grads completed a sweep of the Ottawa Sting Friday night at Brian Kilrea arena to earn HEO U12 AA playoff champion honours. The Jr. Grads swept the Sting in the playoff final with scores of 3-0, 8-2, 5-0 and 3-0.

In the first round of the playoffs the team defeated the Rideau St. Lawrence Kings, in the second round the Jr. Grads beat the Kanata Blazers.

Overall, the team boasted a 9-1-1 record scoring 54 goals and giving up only 10 on their way to the playoff championship title. The team finished the season ranked #1 in Ontario with an overall record of 41-11-6, the season also included winning the title at the CHE Canadian Cup in Montreal.
