U11B Jr Grads Win Silver at Peterborough Liftlock Tournament

Congratulations to the Cumberland Jr. Grads U11B team on a stellar performance at the Peterborough Liftlock tournament from January 12-14, 2024.  Going undefeated in round-robin play (4-0), they won their way to the final game at the Peterborough Memorial Centre, home of the Peterborough Petes (OHL).  After a hard-fought battle through the entire championship game, the team fell to the Don Mills Mustangs after a late third period goal.  The team was proud to bring home a silver medal, coming off the heels of a gold medal win in Brockville.  A sincere thank you to the city of Peterborough and the organizing committee for a fantastic tournament.
