This award was created in loving memory of Bradley Antoine who passed away suddenly on Tuesday January 15th 2008 due to a brain aneurism.
At the time, Bradley played for the U15 A – Cumberland Ice Gators. After his passing, his coaches and team created an award in memory of their teammate. The Bradley Antoine Award is given annually to a Cumberland Dukes U15 “A” player that “best exemplifies sportsmanship/team player”.
Each year, our Dukes U15 “A” coaches work with their coaching staff to nominate a player whom they feel personifies this award. The nominations are reviewed by the Executive Council and the recipient is presented with the award at the CMHA Annual General Meeting in May.
